semalam tekak celik-celik dapur terasa nak makan pie... nak thaw the chicken terasa lambatlah sangat... tekak bagai digaru-garu nak makan pie... dalam freezer ada frozen peas and carrots... can mushroom pun ada... cantik sangatlah tu... buat vege pie je lah...
bahan-bahan:
450gm frozen peas & carrots
2 tin button mushroom dihirs
2 biji bawang besar dipotong dadu
sedikit ground black pepper
sedikit ground white pepper
garam dan gula secukup rasa
sedikit minyak utk menumis
cara-cara:
panaskan kuali masukkan minyak.
tumis bawang hingga kekuningan.
masukkan peas, carrots and mushroom.
kacau rata.
masukkan black pepper, white pepper, garam serta gula.
masak hingga agak kering.
masukkan white sauce dan kacau rata.
bahan white sauce:
70gm butter
2 sudu besar tepung gandum
1/2 cawan susu UHT
cara-cara:
cairkan butter.
masukkan susu dan tepung gandum.
kacau jangan berketul.
jika terlalu pekat tambahkan UHT milk lagi.
first version utk petang semalam:
2nd version utk pagi tadi:
bahan-bahan utk pastry:
2 1/2 cawan all purpose flour
230gm unsalted butter (boleh kurangkan)
1 sudu kecil gula
1 sudu kecil garam
8 sudu besar ice water
cara-cara:
masukkan tepung, gula dan garam ke dlm food processor.
pulse to mix.
masukkan butter, pulse 8times.
masukkan ice water sedikit demi sedikit.
pulse until mixture just begins to clump together.
kepalkan sedikit doh tadi.
if the crumbly dough holds together, it's ready.
kalau tak tambahkan sedikit lagi air.
balut doh dgn cling wrap dan simpan didlm fridge selama 1 jam.
***(jika terlebih ice water pastry akan jadi keras)
